Ira Wilder
I am a freelance photographer attending the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill. I was born and raised in North Carolina and am a former co-photo editor of The Daily Tar Heel. My work has been published in NPR, GoHeels and Coulture Magazine, among others. I am an interdisciplinary photographer with a background in written journalism. I specialize in capturing rare candid moments and finding the middle ground between arthouse and journalistic photography.
